The farmer, and the hunter
The hunter is on his hunt,
searching for an ounce of food for his stomach,
endlessly searching endlessly waiting,
he eventually sees a small baby buffalo,
but the hunter couldn't kill it.
He continued searching and came upon a birds nest,
but he couldn't bring himself to harm the birds,
so he moved over the pasture lands,
searching for something else.
Coming to a small farmers barn,
he found a few sheep in the barn,
he also found some tools, and a place to sleep.
But he couldn't bring himself to take the farmers animals,
so he continued on.
He was truely hungry,
he couldn't kill anything,
he couldn't steal anything,
he couldn't dream,
he couldn't stand,
but he continued on.
The man came to a cross-roads,
one path ventured down a forest,
the other to a barren-land,
instead he turned around.
but he still continued on.
But then finally from no food,
the man passed out in the pasture,
but even in his dreams he continued on.
He awoke in a cozy cotton bed,
he got out of it and went downstairs,
he found a man eating some bread,
drinking some coffee,
looking at him,
The man moved to the table and asked the farmer,
where am I?
but the farmer had no answer,
who are you?
no answer,
the farmer stood and gave food to the man,
the man took it graciously and ate it,
he dug into it and was so focused into the food,
so much that he looked up when he finished,
the farmer was nowhere to be seen.
Hello? farmer? he called,
he searched around the house,
he searched around the barn,
and even around the pasture,
but returning to the barn house, he obtained his things and continued on.
You may find that this may just be a story to you, or you might find a morale or meaning in it, if you do then it's what you take away or believe. If you wish you can put a post on here about what you think the morale is...
